Social sustainability depends on the commitment of all employees. It can only be implemented effectively if it is collectively supported and actively practiced. Employees are therefore a central part of our sustainable approach.
We have established a strong framework for social sustainability, reflected in responsible business processes, a values-driven collaborative culture, and high standards for the protection of sensitive data.
Our understanding of social sustainability is based on three key areas of focus: business conduct, employee behaviour and data security.
Business Conduct
Our policy on corruption and conflicts of interest defines clear principles for acting with integrity and transparency. It serves to prevent corruption in any form, ensure fair dealings with business partners, and avoid conflicts of interest. In this way, we strengthen the trust of customers, partners, and employees and ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements.
Employee Conduct
Our corporate policy forms the foundation for ethical, fair, and respectful interactions. It protects against corruption, conflicts of interest, discrimination, and harassment, and promotes equal opportunity, inclusion, and respect for human rights.
In addition, our Occupational Health and Safety Policy establishes the framework for a safe and healthy work environment. It defines clear measures to prevent accidents and health risks and fosters a culture of responsibility and care. The goal is to identify hazards early, minimize risks, and maintain a respectful work environment.
Data Security
Clear rules governing the use of our IT infrastructure apply to the secure handling of information. These are set out in our IT Usage Policy and are binding. They cover all systems, networks, applications, and technical equipment. The goal is to ensure secure working practices, safeguard process quality, and at the same time protect employees’ personal rights.
